Wotton-under-Edge is a market town in the Stroud district of Gloucestershire, near the southern fringe of the Cotswolds. It had a population of 5,632 at the 2021 census.
The town lies on the B4058, five miles from the M5. The nearest railway station is Cam and Dursley, seven miles north. St Mary the Virgin church was consecrated in 1283, and Wotton Hill has Waterloo memorial trees.
