About Overseal
Overseal is a village and civil parish in the South Derbyshire district, three miles south of Swadlincote and thirteen miles south-south-west of Derby. The civil parish had a population of 2,450 at the 2011 census.
The A444 runs through the village, and the M42 is about three miles to the south-east. St Matthew’s Church is Grade II listed and was built in 1840-1841.
