About Rusper
Rusper is a village and civil parish in the Horsham District of West Sussex, 4.1 miles north of Horsham and 4.2 miles west of Crawley. It had a population of 1,389 at the 2001 census.
The village is five miles from London Gatwick Airport and lies under its flight path. The Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene is a Grade I listed building with a good medieval tower, and Rusper Priory was established around 1200.
