About Whitfield
Whitfield is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the Dover district of Kent, now part of Dover’s urban area, about 4 miles north of Dover. It had a population of 5,896 at the 2021 census.
It lies at the junction of the A2 and A256 roads. St Peter’s Church is a 10th-century Saxon church largely rebuilt in Norman times, and the original settlement was Church Whitfield.
