About Long Ashton
Long Ashton is a village and civil parish in North Somerset, just outside Bristol’s urban boundary. It had a population of 6,044 in 2011.
The Bristol to Taunton Line passes below the village, and Long Ashton station operated from 1926 to 1941. All Saints church dates from about 1380, and the Ashton Court estate hosts the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
