About Spaxton
Spaxton is a village and civil parish on the Quantocks in Somerset, about 5 miles west of Bridgwater. It falls under Somerset Council, and the parish population was 1,051 at the 2021 census.
The Church of St Margaret is Grade I listed and mostly 15th century. Other notable sites include Hawkridge Reservoir, built between 1960 and 1962, and Gothelney Hall, a 15th-century Grade I listed building.
