About Great Shelford
Great Shelford is a village about 4 miles south of Cambridge in South Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire. It had a population of 4,233 at the 2011 Census.
Shelford railway station is on the West Anglia Main Line between Cambridge and London Liverpool Street. The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin was rebuilt in 1387, and several 16th-century timber-framed buildings survive in the village.
